It is best to do both.

Otherwise, pray in the masjid even if it is too fast.

Sheikh, in my locality in all the mosques the taraweeh prayer is prayed 20 rakah and is prayed very very fast.it is difficult to make out what is being recited.isnt it an insult to the quran to pray in such manner. The complete 20 rakah within 50 minutes. So in this case is it better to pray with them i.e along with the imam or should i pray in my house with my brother and other family members with jamaat (as im not hafiz of quran we will be reciting only what is known to us).
