It’s a major sin if the masjid is within your vicinity and you are able to go physically but choose not to pray in the masjid without a valid reason.

I’m a college student and in my college, there are very less muslims and majority are non-muslims, the ratio is 70:1. Even if there are some muslims but they don’t pray. I live in college hostel because it is far away from my home. My question is, I don’t want to leave prayer so how do I pray among non muslims? There is no place free to go and pray. If I pray among them, their hatred triggers.
