This ayah and 162 are from the sunnah to recite them before the Fatiha in the first Rakah.

Kindly tell me that what is the ruling on reading ayat 79 of surah an’aam in the begining of salah before dua istaftah?

In all the masjids in my area the brothers and sisters do 2 rakat nafl straight after maghrib salah. Is this correct? because I learnt that one should wait 10 -15 minutes before praying sunnah pray.
