Traveling is going out of the city borders. Moving from one place to the other in the same city doesn’t require a mahram as it is not traveling.

What is the ruling on traveling.Is a woman not allowed to travel only with a Mahram? Is this also the case if she travels in her city, visiting someone from her neighbours?
