The Prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam addressed the men by saying: do not prevent the female servants of Allah from attending the houses of Allah (masjids). The men can only stop them if there is harm that might get to them.
He also addressed the women by saying that praying at their homes is better for them.
Therefore, it is up to the women to seek lesser reward by praying in the masjid or more reward by praying home.
