As long as these clothes are loose and thick and do not show your body structure, it is permissible to wear. All colors are permissible providing that it doesn’t draw attention and it doesn’t go against the norm of the Muslims there. The more you are conservative with your clothes, the better it is. Remember, Allah has obliged hijab for the protection of both men and women. Allah addressed the greatest companions about the wives of the Prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam by saying:” And when you ask (his wives) for anything you want, ask them from behind a screen, that is purer for your hearts and for their hearts”. Surely we are in more need of purity of our hearts than them.
