The Quran tells us that among the characteristics of the people of Paradise is that they used to wake up to pray night prayer. The Prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam also told us that whoever recites 10 verses of the Quran would not be considered among the ignorant or those who neglect, and whoever prays with 100 verses will be registered among the ones who fear Allah.
