You must reply in a way he hears you saying it.

If we are busy in reading Quraan or remembering Allah, and if someone says Salaam, we are obliged to reply. My question is – Is replying by tongue mandatory OR can we reply even by the gesture of hand also?

I recite these as as well as some selected verses from the different chapters of the Holy Quraan Is it necessary to recite Bismillah Hirrahman Nirraheem when reciting every supplication? or is it enough to recite Bismillah Hirrahman Nirraheem once in the beginning.
