If you are a student of knowledge and you are able to distinguish what is right from what is wrong, this is permissible but I would consider it a waste of time without benefit.
But if you are a beginner and you might be easily influenced with their allegations and there is no scholars around you to direct you step by step, in this case, it is forbidden to go to such universities as they will distort your Islam.
There are a number of online universities that will give you proper Islamic information and a university degree at the same time.
