The Prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam said that whoever defends his Muslim’s brother reputation while he is not present, Allah will save him from hellfire.
Therefore, may Allah bless all those who defend the reputation of their Muslim brothers from those people who have nothing except slandering Muslim scholars without giving them the benefit of the doubt.
This doesn’t mean that when we see mistakes that we don’t correct them. We must correct them and bring the people’ attention to such mistakes but we shouldn’t be like the flies that only fall on garbage and dirt. We should also see the good things in people.
