I listen to sister YASMIN MOGAHED ..her lectures are extremly beneficial and she gives very good advice and her lectures have helped me a great deal through very difficult times in my life..the fact that she is a sister helps us sisters to relate to..

You should know who you take your knowledge from and that person must be knowledgeable and trust worthy.

Therefore, if this sister is a practicing Muslimah and teaches only sisters while wearing proper clothes and has good and trustworthy knowledge, this is permissible to listen to her.

But if she is not, you must not be deceived by her beautiful talk as long as she is not a practicing Muslimah.

Question from a sister: is it ok for me to listen to a sisters conducting islamic lectures?
