It is permissible providing there is someone to take care of your mother and sister and your mother is OK with that.

I told my mom i intend to perform itikaf this ramadan just for 2 days i have never done it and my friends go often so wanted to do this time and also clear my mind in retreat.My mom was nothappy,i asked reason but she refused,she only said” girls dont go out and you never listened to me in these matters”Should i obey her?I make sure i dont neglect my parents duties but she dindt agree.
