Is there any authentic hadith which makes it obligatory on reciting darood shareeh upon seeing any masjid?

Is it permissible to make dua for oneself alongside for the deceased, when one visits a grave?note that the visitor does not venerate the grave in anyway, but goes there merely for the purpose of visiting the grave.

I believe that some years back someone told me that after every fajr and maghrib prayers it is good to ask Allah to bless the Prophet(saw) ten times. I think I was told either to say,..”Allahumma salli alaa muhammad wa ala aali muhammad kama sallayta ala ibrahima wa ala aali ibrahima innaka hameedum majeed…etc” OR it was “Allahumma salli wa sallim ala sayyidina wa nabiyyina muhammad” ten times. I want to know, is this from the sunnah and if it is then what are the virtues/rewards behind this.
