We are fasting from first of Dul Hijjah which was 7th Dec., 2010 (According to Hijri Calander of Makkah). The “Arafat standing is on Monday the 15th Dec., 2010, which is fixed for Arafat (The Place) thus this remains same for all Muslims through out the world. Which day will be “the Day of Arafat” for all Muslims of North America?

If the moon was sighted in your country and the Muslims agreed the Eid is on the 17th of November, this means that Arafa Day is on the day before of that which is the 16th.
It makes no difference that Eid in Saudi Arabia is on the 16th because each country has its own sighting.
Most people get confused because the day is called the Day of Arafat and we have only one Arafat (the location), therefore we should only fast that day as the pilgrims stand on it.
