If you had the intention for Umrah before coming to Jeddah, what you had done was wrong and you must slaughter a sheep in the Haram area and distributed to meet to the poor.

My father lives in Jeddah and I went there to spend summer holidays with him and performed umrah aswell but I put my Ihraam from jeddah. Could you please let me know if it is allowed.
