If you swear not to do something, you can expiate and do it.

I just wanted to clarify the following hadeeth. “When anyone amongst you takes an oath, but he finds (something) better than that he should expiate (break the oath), and do that which is better.” Reported ‘Adi: Muslim: Book 15 : Hadith 4058
