This is an issue that must be clarified by the Islamic judge. There is a possibility that you are lying. Even if you are telling the truth, there is a possibility that he gave you the divorce and after few days told two witnesses that he had changed his mind and got you back. In this case, one divorce is gone but you are still his wife.

Therefore, you have to have something in writing from him.

I would advise you to complain to his embassy in your country and they will see your marriage contract and will contact him to know what is happening.

In worst case scenario, you can go to the Islamic judge in your country and complain to him. He might be able to contact him or if not, he can give you an official divorce.
