Our Prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam has died and was washed like all dead people and the companions prayed the funeral prayer and then he was buried. Is he alive like us? The answer is surely no. otherwise, we would get him out of the grave to live with us. However, he is alive in the stage of Barzakh which is a transitional stage between this life and the hereafter. Those who believe that he is alive like us are misguided and most probably are following the Sufi sect.

I want to know about Muhammad (Salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam)’s life in his grave, Because some peolple have this creed that Muhammad(Salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam)… August 10, 2012 – 06:16 — contribute …can not hear from far but can hear from near to his grave and Muhammad(Salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam) is alive in his grave. And those people give the reference from Quran and Hadees. So i need help in this regard that this creed is right or shirk.
