You can recite Quran in your menses as well and this would be included in your khatam.

sheikh, we miss our quran recitations due to menses in Ramadaan . So if complete it after Ramadaan as how we complete our missed fasts will our recitation will be recorded & rewarded as if we have completed it in Ramadaan?
