ANSWER:

If he believes that people have no choice and that they are forced to behave and act like they do due to their destiny and that Satan and Gibreel are alike because they are fulfilling Allah’s destiny, such beliefs are blasphemous and must not pray behind such a person.  

Sheikh the imam of our masjid has the aqeedah regarding taqdeer that ALLAH sends the person to hell and heaven and not his deeds,it was pre written that the person would go to hell or heaven so he would go to hell or heaven according to his written taqdeer and not by his deeds.He has differed from the belief of Ahlus sunnah wal jamaah regarding taqdeer. Is prayer valid behind such a person?

I have a friend who left islam few years back. I met him recently and asked him regarding the matter why he left islam.
