The most authentic opinion is that it is permissible providing that the sperm is from the husband and the egg is from the wife, the doctor and the clinic are trustworthy to ensure that the sperms and eggs are not mixed with other people, and that the treating doctor is a female to avoid exposing the private parts of the wife to a male.

A married couple who has no children for quite some time & have undergone all the necessary tests & the Doctors told her that her tube is blocked. Can this couple go for IVF (In vitro fertilization) as the doctors have advised her for that? Is it allowed?
