It is permissible to go to a male dentist if a woman needs treatment if there are no female dentists.

However, it is not permissible to straighten crocked teeth except if it is affecting a person’s speech or eating or it is a clear abnormality.

I have recently noticed that my front teeth are becoming crooked and I live in a small town in the UK and to my knowledge there are no Muslim dentists. Before Allaah guided me and I started to wear niqab my dentist was a non muslim male. Is it permissible
