Parents are children’s responsibility and they must help them out from their own money, this is the reason why you must not give them your zakat money. If your husband is taking out zakat on his wealth then he can give his parents in law his zakat. 

Can u give zakat money to parents if they are in dire need of it

I live in the UK, ive calculated my zakah and given it to my parents. They want to distribute it to the extreme poor ppl in their village in pakistan. But they go pakistan maybe once every year or once every 1.5 years.. i know delaying zakat is sinful. But is my zakah valid or nullfied due to long delay?. I have no house,I am renting temporarily.I saved money and still saving which is still not enough to build a house… Am I supposed to pay zakka???
