ANSWER:

It is not permissible to take any insurance on your own as it involves two major sins: gambling and riba. 

Iam from India we don’t have any medical facilities can we have medicine insurance is it halal

In UAE it is mandatory to take health insurance if you are resident here.and company cut a minimal amount per month to facilitate this service.my question is can I take insurance benefits.(eg.if medical expense is 10000 Dhs I have to pay only 10% of it)please note that I don’t know whether riba is involved or not.
