Read it with understanding, while contemplating on its meanings. If this is not possible, reading in Arabic without understanding it is highly rewardable as well. 

I’m a non Arab Muslim. I was taught how to read the Quran since my childhood, now in my late thirties I realized that only reading is not enough I’m in the way to learn language of Quran, it’s a slow process, it takes me so long to understand (translate) a passage. My question is should I read with understanding or side by side should I read without concentration on meaning as well?
