ANSWER:

This is permissible however, the husband is not obliged to provide for her until she starts living with him. They should not have intercourse either, unless her father approves it, as she is still in his house and people know that they have not consummated the marriage yet. 

Is it allowed in Islam for two people to get married as in do the Nikkah but not the Sending off of the girl and she stays with her parents for about a year or two? Also during the period between Nikkah and Rukhsati is the husband supposed to be providing for her or parents can provide? Can they treat each other completely as husband/wife or are there any limitations?
