Allah the almighty knows what you mean to say but at the same time, if there is a time of answering Du’ah, we are instructed to be aware not to say the wrong things though we don’t intend it because Allah will answer what we have said. The Prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam told us that if a person is sleepy, he should sleep and not make Du’ah so that he wouldn’t try to ask Allah for forgiveness and then end up making Du’ah against himself.
