This is not permissible as it is imitating the Kufar. Muslims honor their mothers 365 days a year.

Is celebrating mother’s day permissible in Islam?

I am a revert of 10 years Hamdullilah. My parents were good living roman catholic and are dead many years. I assumed they were destined for Hell because they believed in the trinity. – major shirk. I have read my Quran many times and for me it is clear that Allah will not forgive this sin. However a muslim wife of my husbands cousin said not to say this and only Allah can judge. Please clarify.

I belong to a school where majority of the kids are Hindus. All the kids make fun of Islam. They call it a myth. Whatever it is, it has a scientific advantage. So i can answer them. But one sikh guy asked me that if Islam does not follow any myths then why do we worship a meteor in mecca? The quran says that the black stone came from the heaven. Science does not believe in heaven or hell.
