If one does not know Arabic, s/he can make general dua’a in their mother tongue in sujood or before Salam.

It does not break salah.

Sir I’m very confused in whether to recite dua in your mother tongue in salaah or not? How could it be permissable? It would break our salaah.. Wouldn’t it? Please clarify
