if a non muslin woman in love with a muslin man , she want to marry with Muslim man, after getting shahada, explain in detail is it right or false in view of Islam.

My friend wants her father to perform her nikaah at home is this permissable or does it have to be an imaam or an outsider who does the nikaah? And what must be included for the nikaah to be acceptable? Eg. To ask three times, mahr agreement etc.
