The son is sinful.

A brother asks, if his father stops him from leaving a beard or wearing trousers above ankles and he obeys him to avoid his anger, does it amount to shirk as he is following the commandment of his father than Allah(swt).

My husband’s brothers have slandered him and put some buhtan on him and also humiliated him in front of his children. Despite of all this, is it still compulsory on him to maintain kin? Or in this circumstance he can maintain distance from them due to their bad behavior with him.
