It is not permissible to pray behind someone who believes that Rizq is from our prophet salla allahu alaihi wa sallam or calls him and ask him for intercession.

Is it permissible to pray behind an imam who :- (i)says rizk is from Allah(swt) & His Messenger Muhammad(saw)? (ii)The imam also makes the following dua – “O Messenger of Allah grant us your intercession & the intercession of your companions on the day of recompense”

I told my brother that there is a fear of shirk involved in such practices. but he claims that it is bad if they make a baby to wear that thing on his neck & it is OK to feed him or to burn the substance so that the baby could smell its smoke. I advise him by saying ” please be patient and look after the baby” but he insist and keep asking me for the substance. at last I give him by saying that I m free from what you’ve done but i wish if u could not do it. is his claim right or wrong? am I regarded as the one who have helped them on this? May Allah (exalted be He) reward you.
