Whats the ruling on selling money? Example: I have a old (£1) coin & it is 50 or 100 years old. Though it is a pound after all, but can i sell it for more than its value (let’s say £500)? Sometimes people collect rare/old coins.

ANSWER: If it is neither gold or silver, it is permissible to sell it at a higher price as it is not being sold as currency but rather as an antique.

I’m 21 years old and I’ve never prayed the witr namaz.. is it a sin to not pray witr namaz?

ANSWER: This is not a sin, however you’re missing a great deal of reward by missing praying witr as the Prophet salla Allahu Alaihi wa Sallam used to never miss witr, not even while he was traveling.

I know that we should pray 2 rakayat salah before sitting in the mosque. My question is, if we pray EId salah in Mosque Do we need to pray 2 rakat Tahhiyatul Mosjid as there is no salat before EID prayer.

ANSWER: Yes, you must pray 2 rakahs before sitting down if eid salah is prayed in a masjid and not in an open space.

I watched your video about fashion & videos about how women should dress up. In the first video you’re saying that Muslims can wear beautiful clothes & in the others you’re saying women can’t wear beautiful clothes because they will attract men. Does that mean, only men can wear beautiful clothes? That attracts women too. And you’d say that women should lower their gaze, and/but why are men not told to do so when they see women?

ANSWER: This is not permissible. Dhikr is only done as per the prescribed instructions of Prophet salla Allahu Alaihi wa Sallam.

ANSWER: There’s nothing specific to be done for pregnant women during these times and everything that people mention is incorrect and innovations.

My question is if one’s parents give money n jewellery to their daughter on their wedding m after on any occasion like eidi on eid etc, so husband have right on the wifes money because in pakistan men this if we not work its ok wife money is their money to spend on their family.

ANSWER: The money and gifts that are given to a woman are her own possessions and her husband has no right on these whatsoever. She should take it and put it in a safe deposit box in a bank.

Shaikh i have a long term problem of gum bleeding sometimes i might swallow it unintentionally not knowing my saliva might contain blood does that effect my fast while sleeping also my gums do bleed and what about sputum that goes inside directly in to throat from nose when a person lie dowm to sleep i am always stressed and thinking whether my fast is accepted or not ?

ANSWER: What you do unknowingly, you are not accountable for it, however, if you deliberately swallow blood, the fast is invalid and you must make it up.

In India sub continent , many women do sujood in a different way and not like what we do here . They stick there self on to the ground and arms and biceps attached to their body without any gap. Is it incorrect or correct?

ANSWER: This is totally wrong and Prophet salla Allahu Alaihi wa Sallam forbade this and said you should not prostrate like how a dog sits.
