This is a reply to the question i asked regarding lying to avoid a sin and u asked for an example my brother asked me where was the earphone although i knew where it was i said i dont know at once(later i said him to search it himself) , because he uses it to listen to songs or some other video which may have music…is it okay..??

It is not permissible to lie. Don’t lie and tell him to look for it himself as you can’t help him in sinning.
