What he has said is not correct. Looking at the awrah of anyone would not invalidate wudu or ghusl. 

Someone told me that looking at your own awrah (nakedness) OR at the awrah of a woman invalidates your wudu, but he wasn’t sure if it invalidates ghusl. Is any of this true? Does it matter if the awrah is the face or head, or if the person is completely naked (like a wife or husband or a small child who is naked)?
