ANSWER:

A Woman must wear an outer garment that doesn’t  reveal her curves and bones structure, black color is not mandatory though it is preferred as the female companions used to wear it. 

some people ask regarding covering of women in Islam that there is only thing mention in Quran is to cover with cloth it’s not mentioned to wear Black colored abaya or how to wear it. Could you please send me hadith to explain the same.
