ANSWER:

You must remove the hair on the pubic area which is below the naval and above the penis. Removing the hair around this area is mandatory and it is recommended to remove it from the testicles. If you remove the hair around the anus, that would be good as well.

The sunnah is to shave the pubic hair and not to trim it. Armpit should be plucked and it can be shaved as well. Trimming it defies the purpose of removing it.

Should we start shaving our hairs from right below the belly button or only around our private parts? Is it allowed to trim your private hair instead of shaving ?
