ANSWER:

No problem in reciting ayat al kursi after fateha and no problem in reciting only one short ayah after fateha as well and what these people are saying is baseless.

Sheikh, while praying salah if we complete one rakat by reciting ayat-ul-kursi only, after surah fatiha then is that okay? We heard many people saying that one have to recite at least three ayah after surah fatiha otherwise the salat is invalid. Please help to clear up the confusion.
