ANSWER:

Normal crying is part of human nature and our Prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam had cried over his son Ibraheem. What is not permissible is wailing and shouting and complaining. 

shaykh, if a person’s dad passed away, he cried, does that crying in such calamity reduces the reward?
