Shaikh, 1 of my friend have a query. in 2014 Her Khala hd gave her some Gold to exchange, which she wasn’t willing to take but due respect she took. my friend tried to exchange but couldn’t. when she was back 2India for her Father funeral she lost those jewelry now her Aunt kept reminding for this loss.should she give equal amount to her Aunt or half b’coz it was taken unwilingly

ANSWER:

If she was doing a favor to her aunt and trying to help her exchange it with something better or a different type and it was lost without any negligence or transgression from her side, she is not obliged to return anything to her as she didn’t do a thing wrong.

Is it permissible to garland(flower)around the neck to a guest in a function for a muslim.

There is democracy system in my country and elctions are about to start. As according to some scholars democracy is system of kufr. Should i give my vote then? Kindly enlighten the issue.
