It is permissible to send the money to your  home-country for a goat or a sheep, and you can also take a share in a cow if you like. A cow and a camel can be shared by upto 7 people. It is best to slaughter it here and eat from it as this is sunnah.

Respected sheikh.. I live in saudia arabia and from pakistan; I want to know if we don’t want to do qurbani here in KSA. Can we take portion from cow in pakistan? We can afford well so it is necessary to do whole goat or whole cow ..plz clear my doubts ..and it’s necessary to do qurbani where you live? Reply !

we had got 2 goats for sacrificing for eid ul adha. One of the goat got bitten by snake and died.We had bought another one and sacrificed in its place.My question is does this mean anything or its just that Allah had decided the animal’s death in such a way? I feel its wrong to interpret anything like something wrong might happen to family.
