ANSWER:

Your father is correct. If it’s a conventional riba(interest) based bank then this is totally prohibited because it’s assisting and facilitating haram. And Allah said in the Qur’an do not co operate each other in evil. 

 

My question is that can you give a commercial building of your own for rent to a bank ? Is it permissable ?because my father is a religious person and he is of the view that the principles or activities on which a Bank deal are prohibited in islam. So i need your guidence in this manner that would it be permissible to allow a bank to take your building as a rent or not ?
