ANSWER:

The punishment of the grave is not related to the punishment on the day of judgement.

Some people would be tormented in their graves but not punished in hell. Others would not be tormented in their graves but will be admitted to hell. 

 

My question is if the fate of a person will be decided on the day of judgement, then why will there be punishment to a sinner in grave? How can a dead person be declared sinner or good in the grave if that will be decided on day of judgement?
