My family and I are planning to apply for a US visa, and the U.S. Embassy requires women who wear hijab to have their pictures taken with the head scarf showing the hairline. I really feel uncomfortable showing even the tiniest part of my aura but I thought this requirement is similar to photos in national IDs, passport and other legal documents. I also wondered what are the WOMEN WEARING niqab will do in a similar situation? Please enlighten me Sheikh is it permissible? I shall await your kind guidance and time, please help me as I might commit sin by doing a wrong decision.
