This is not true as true scholars used to follow the Quran and Sunnah.

This is what we are instructed to do by Allah and His Prophet, salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam.

Isn’t it truth that majority of the ulama of the past strictly used to follow one of the 4 madhab even some of them used to call them xyz hanafi or xyz hanbali so why we r not strictly following them?
