The first two channels include music and sometimes men or women in shorts. If the documentaries they are showing don’t have things that are against Islam, it is permissible for them to watch it as it is educational. As for cartoons, you have to be selective in what they watch. Tom and Jerry is funny but it contains a lot of bad ideas and wrong practices and hence, it is not advisable for them to watch.
