ANSWER:

Putting in one row separate from adults would cause chaos and disturbance as they will play and annoy one another. 

Is it appropriate to place kids in a separate row to pray with the Imam? In India, this practice is very common. Main rows are occupied by Men, while kids are kept in the extreme back corner and made to form separate rows to join the Imam. Is this practice allowed or they should form rows behind men not far extreme?
