Umar Ibn AL Khattab was a companion of the Prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam and he is the second Caliph.

Umar Al Mukhtar lived in the beginning of the 20th century and he was one of the great fighters against the Italian occupation of Libya.

IM CONFUSED… IS UMAR IBN KHATTAB AND UMAR AL MOKHTAR THE SAME PEOPLE BUT PEOPLE CALL THEM DIFFERENT NAMES AND IF THEY ARE DIFFERENT WHAT ARE THEY’RE DIFFERENCES??
