I was labelled as a bad son for supporting my wife in front of my parents and siblings. I stay away from my home and in my homeland there was lots of misunderstanding raised between my wife and mother, thus I asked her to go and stay in her mother’s place to avoid more misunderstanding because I would lose any one of them. Your parents have rights over you and so does your wife. You did nothing wrong in supporting your wife as long as you were not disrespectful or rude with your mother. Your wife has the right to a separate accommodation in Islam. Work hard on getting her that.

My husband is not allowing me to go to Taraweeh to Masjid. I really really want to go shaykhs. I used to go before marriage now I feel like I am totally disturbed as he is not allowing me. But he is a practicing muslim.Alhamdulillh. What to do in situations like these?
