If they heard of the Prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam and Islam and
didn’t follow it, they will go to hell for eternity.

I want to know that will the people of the book who believe in Allah alone and not believe in Islam, abide in hell eternally?

As we encounter christians missionary in our life time, they get knowledge of Islam and on that basis they raises question regarding Quran and even Hadiths.
